Winter Registration Updates (SkiSparks and Skiwerx)

2026-27 Registration Schedule now posted!
 
Most of our clubs fill quickly and rental equipment goes even faster. Our clubs are 100% volunteer run and to support that, we have a phased registration system that gives priority to volunteers!
 
PLEASE consider volunteering. We provide online and in-person coach training and lots of support. Together we get over 4000 kids on skis each winter!

Thursday		 Leadership Team Volunteers (Club Leaders, Directors, Equipment Managers, Community Connectors) Guaranteed first choice club and classic or skate rental (even if club does not have rentals). *Access to repair (free) or replacement (free or wholesale) for your own classic ski equip.

*Access to first round of Ski Swap tickets

Phase 2 10/8/26 - 10/18/26
Thu - Sun		 Primary On Snow Volunteers Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Level 4-6 Sweepers, Skiwerx Sweepers Guaranteed first or second choice club and Classic or Skate rental in clubs with rental programs. *Discount on Ramsey County or Mpls Ski Passes

*Access to purchase vintage skis/poles ($25 per set)

*Access to purchase poles at wholesale (any time of year)

Phase 3 10/19/26 - 10/21/26
Mon - Wed		 Other volunteers Level 2-3 Sweepers, Photographers, Chalet/Snack Coordinators, etc. Primary On Snow Roles will be cleared first.

NOTE: All Level 1 skiers must have a registered Volunteer Level 1 Attendant.		 Likely first or second choice club and classic rental for clubs with rental programs.

Skate rentals likely in clubs with rentals programs. NOTE: Skate rental are ONLY available for families that volunteer.

*You can avoid the chaos of this day by volunteering (most families do)
*Waiting room feature in registration slows down the flow into the payment portal. You will have to keep your browser open to save your place in line
*Please do your SkiSparks research: Skill level, location, rentals, which club your friends are attending, etc.
*In the metro, you should have a second club choice in mind if your first choice fills
*Setup an account and know your login before registration day
*The same parent should register the skiers each season

Outreach and Under-represented Skiing Families
*We have a variety of partners and programs to help us increase our diversity and reach
*Spots are held for these programs until mid-December and if they are not used, we will release them to our waitlist
